Aunt Sandy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

From the Kitchen of: Sandy Lowe

1 lb butter
1 lb dark brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
6 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 bags of 12 oz chocolate chips
1-2 cups walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour and salt in large bowl until well blended. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
