POTATO SOUP (Kathy’s Recipe)

 Potato soup


INGREDIENTS

1 chopped onion

6-8 Peeled and chopped into squares potatoes 

Salt and pepper potato’s and boiled to medium cooked.

Cooked and crumbled bacon strips


Then make sauce

1 cup butter

1 cup flour

¼ tsp pepper

8 cups milk

2 cups medium cheddar cheese, shredded


INSTRUCTIONS

1.Cook potatoes, onions & drain.

Set aside

2.Cook bacon and crumble.

3.In a large saucepan, melt butter and mix with flour cook a minute or two to cook flour. Add milk slowly and stir constantly until thickened. Add cheese. Add drained potatoes, bacon pieces and cheese to soup.
